A 60-minute psychotherapy session that combines talk therapy with somatic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and mindfulness practices. This integrative approach helps you identify maladaptive behavioral patterns, develop effective coping tools, and work through the root causes of underlying issues. Together, we focus on processing trauma symptoms to promote healing and lasting change. At From Body To Being Therapy Services, your path to greater balance and well-being is supported every step of the way.
A somatic experiencing session involves gently guiding you to notice physical sensations in your body without judgment. The therapist helps you track these sensations to release tension and trapped stress. This process supports your nervous system in restoring balance, promoting healing from trauma or emotional distress through increased body awareness and regulation.
Somatic experiencing adds a layer of physical experience, supporting clients who may find it difficult to articulate feelings or who carry trauma beyond words. It is especially effective for those dealing with trauma, anxiety, or stress-related disorders, providing tools to reconnect with the body and foster resilience from the inside out.
